Field Technician

On-site sampling and customer-facing work.

A typical day

Deploy continuous radon monitors. Sample air for VOCs and PM. Walk homeowners through what their numbers mean — in plain language.

What we look for

  • Comfort with measurement instruments
  • Driver's license + travel across Vancouver Island
  • Strong communication with non-technical clients
Express interest

Lab Analyst

Sample analysis, microscopy, and reporting.

A typical day

Examine asbestos fibers under PCM/TEM. Run mold spore counts. Translate raw data into reader-friendly reports a homeowner can act on.

What we look for

  • Lab experience — microscopy, spectroscopy, or wet chem
  • Background in physics, environmental science, or engineering
  • Attention to detail and clean documentation habits
Express interest

Co-op / Internship

Entry path for students and early-career.

A typical day

Shadow field and lab work. Build a portfolio across radon, mold, VOCs, asbestos, and PM. Pathway to C-NRPP certification with mentorship.

What we look for

  • 2nd-year+ in physics, env science, building science, or engineering
  • Curious, methodical, and reliable
  • BC-based for the duration of the term

  • Backgrounds in physics, environmental science, engineering, or building science
  • Comfort with measurement instruments and lab workflows
  • Strong communication — we translate technical data into plain language
  • Reliability and attention to detail in on-site sampling
  • A driver's license and the ability to work across Vancouver Island
